The Assessor's Office is responsible for the valuation of all the tangible real and personal property within Perry County.

Perry County's 18,000 citizens own over 14,150 parcels of real estate and have over 9,000 personal property accounts with a certified assessed value of over $276 million as of January 2009. Perry County is a third-class county.
