Tax Information

Overview

Tax bills are usually mailed during the first week of November each year. If you have not received your tax bill by December 1, please contact our office at (573) 547-4422. Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the obligation to pay taxes on time.

There are two different tax statements mailed, Personal and Real Estate. The payments for these can either be mailed or sent back to our office at:

321 N. Main St., Ste. 4

Perryville, MO 63775

Payment Options:

The Perry County Collector’s Office has always prided themselves in providing Perry County citizens the highest quality of service in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner. In 2020 we have added safety measures for the Covid Virus, to that list of goals. The Collector’s Office is wanting to take every precaution to keep the citizens visiting their office safe, according to the guidance provided by the Perry County Health Department and the CDC. With the lines of people that the tax season creates, we are asking, if possible, for you to use our two payment drop off boxes on each side of the Administration building. In addition, there is our conveniently located drive-thru window. You may also mail tax statements to avoid the lines or possibly be exposed. Paid receipts will be returned to you.

Also, for your availability this year, we have a new feature on our website, for you to check on payment information or print your paid tax receipt(s) if needed. This information may be found on the Collectors main page under On Line LookUp.
