Perry County Youth Tax Board

In April 2008, Perry County voters approved a one-fourth percent of one-cent countywide sales tax that became effective on October 1, 2008 with no expiration date. This tax revenue is divided equally between the Perry County Youth Tax Board and the Perry County Senior Services Tax Commission (PCSSTC). The Perry County Youth Tax Board is made up of 9 individuals who reside in Perry County. They are appointed to 3 year terms by the Perry County Commission. Appointments occur in September of each year. The Youth Tax Board meets twice annually, in February and September at 4:30 pm on the third Monday of the month. Meetings are held at the Perry County Community Task Force office building located at 21 S Main St. Perryville MO 63775.
